The Ulaanbaatar city bus card is named U money card (https://u-money.mn/) and there are 4 types of cards.

1. Regular charge pass
   • Regular pass card
   • Monthly pass card
2. Children U money card (discounted card for children)
3. Discount card (student, policeman, and disability citizens)
4. Co-brand card (other than U money services, co-brand cards can benefit discount by collecting points from other organization’s services)

How to get a regular pass card ?

You can get and charge a regular U money card:

1. All selling points has U-Money logo
2. There are almost 500 u-money card selling points are available nearby bus stops, supermarkets and convenience stores

How to get a monthly pass card ?

Only can purchase from the customer centers of the “Ulaanbaatar Smart Card” LLC. Address:

Main branch: Chingeltei district, Sambuu`s street, Administration building IV, 3^rd floor.

·       Branches: Capital city of Integrated service centers such as Dunjingarav shopping center, Misheel center

Working hours: Monday – Friday 09:00am to 17:30pm

Money card fee is MNT25,000 for adult and MNT 3,600 for children

How to use bus card

Swipe the card when get on and off the bus.

Price

The card price is MNT 3,600 and you can charge for a card between MNT 500-MNT 90,000. The bus fare is MNT500 for the bus and MNT300 for trolleybus. Cash payment is not accepted on board. Transiting is free of charge when changing buses within 30 minutes.
